Tigers Opening Day
The New York Mets have many things to figure out this offseason. Where are they going to get a pitcher to replace Tom Glavine? Where are they going to get an ace pitcher? Will they re-sign Luis Castillo? Where will they get relief pitchers? Who is going to be the spark on the team to make sure last year doesn't happen?
For some reason the New York Mets have decided to ignore all those questions and go after a catcher first. Their first choice was Jorge Posada but he's returning to the New York Yankees. The second choice was Yorvit Torrealba but that didn't work out either. Who can the New York Mets get to play catcher now? These are the five options I see out there.
Ronny Paulino – Ronny Paulino would be my first choice. Paulino is supposed to be a stud catcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates and for the right price the Pirates will probably deal anybody. The Pirates could definitely use an outfield prospect for when they inevitably don't re-sign Jason Bay.
Ramon Hernandez – There were talks the New York Mets could acquire Ramon Hernandez a few years ago before they decided on Paul Lo Duca. It might take a little bit more to get Hernandez now though simply because he might be too happy they didn't choose him the first time.
Gerald Laird – For a few years now Gerald Laird has been considered a sleeper in the Texas Rangers lineup just waiting to have a break out season. So far it hasn't happened and the Rangers now have Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Laird might be dispensable. The only problem with making a trade for Laird (or Paulino) is that it might cost a prospect that might be better used trying to get a pitcher.
Paul Lo Duca – There is a reason that the New York Mets haven't already tried to re-sign Paul Lo Duca, they don't want him. But if nobody else is available they might have to take Paul Lo Duca back anyway. Although it might be tough to talk Paul Lo Duca into coming back since they're trying to get every catcher under the moon before him.
Ramon Castro – Last season Ramon Castro was the backup catcher and he had some incredible numbers over a very small portion of the season. If Castro were given the starting job it would obviously be tougher to stay consistent, especially when his body will take a beating catching. Ramon Castro has played well enough that it be worth a try though.

Intro to Affiliate Marketing
The easiest way to make money online is with affiliate marketing. In order to be a wealthy affiliate though, you need a guide to help you through the details.
Before you set out to learn affiliate marketing you should know the purpose behind affiliate marketing as summarized below:
Affiliate marketing is used by online merchants to improve sales and profit. An affiliate is an individual who serves as the business partner to the concerned online business that requires an affiliate to market their products and/or services. The online business with whom the affiliate partners can be a merchant who sells products in an e-commerce site, an advertiser who generates leads for one or more websites, or with an online sales executive who is an affiliate themselves.
The revenues for the affiliate marketing services are generated as percentages from sales, percentages from profits, or as revenues per click or as revenue per sale or per the kind of agreement that the online business and affiliate marketer have decided to work on.
Affiliate marketing is normally accomplished with a network of affiliates rather than just one single affiliate. It is a lot like having several sales representatives for your business in a brick and motor business set up. For more information, please check out jeff paul.

Backlinks — Get Them Now
In order to rank high in a search on Google, your site needs to have both on-page SEO and off-page SEO. On page SEO involves things like maintaining optimal keyword density, having your keyword in the title, etc. However, much more important than this on-page SEO is the off-page work, which most people fail at. Off-page SEO comes down to backlinks. Backlinks tell google that the site giving you the backlink is more or less giving a vote for your website. If that backlink uses the keyword you want as anchor text, this is the bes situation, as then that site is telling Google that it really thinks your site is a good site about that keyword. Thus, you need to get a good amount of quality backlinks in order to rank well in Google for most keywords out there. If you want to learn about backlinks more, please visit: backlinks.
